Purpose/Responsibilities
The Election Committee makes recommendations to the Board concerning nomination and election procedures. This committee shall have the responsibility for all aspects of the election process, including, but not limited to, establishing and advertising a time-table for elections, seeking nominations for officers and Board members, guaranteeing that various disciplines and geographic regions are represented on the ballot, distributing ballots, receiving and counting ballots, and reporting election results to the Board, nominees, and membership.
